Primary Responsibilities/Activities: 
As Chief of the Geospatial Sciences & Technologies Branch, I oversee the overall science direction and work of 12-15 Branch employees.  The Branch consists of two teams, the Resource Mapping & Spatial Analysis Team and the Geospatial Sciences Team.  Their work focuses mainly on geospatial analysis, model development, decision support systems, data management, cartography, vegetation/resource mapping, and processing of elevation data (lidar and bathymetry). I work closely with scientists and natural resource partners to identify pressing issues, define high priority research needs for conservation, conduct effective research, and deliver timely results and technical assistance for natural resource management and decision making.
