Tina Licari is the Senior Program Officer in the Ecosystems Mission Area. Her responsibilities include developing program guidance that reflects the mission area strategic goals; budget formulation, capabilities, justifications, and related budget activities; providing analysis and forecasting of program budget initiatives; and generating tools for program requirements, strategies, and goals.
Tina started her government career in 1995 as a temporary employee with the NPS Cooperative Park Studies Unit located at UC Davis. She was selected on a student appointment with USGS in 1998 while earning her undergraduate degree. Throughout her USGS career, Tina has worked in several levels of the organization including a national fiscal office, a regional office and just prior to coming to EMA, as the Administrative Officer for the Western Ecological Research Center.
