Citizen Science Month

It’s already April, and you know what that means? Winter is in the rear view, spring is finally here, and....it’s Citizen Science Month!

Back in 2016, SciStarter established a Citizen Science Day (which has since grown into Citizen Science Month) to celebrate and bring greater awareness to the valuable contributions of the public to scientific research and data collection endeavors.

As a citizen science project, The National Map Corps is proud of the effort our citizen science volunteers have put into updating and maintaining high-quality, national-scale structures data. However, The National Map Corps is just one of many citizen science projects out there, so if you’d like to expand your citizen science portfolio in honor of Citizen Science Month, we encourage you to explore the following resources!

We say it all the time, but we really couldn’t do it without you! The success of TNMCorps is due largely to the folks who take data collection seriously and believe in the mission of our project, so THANK YOU!!!
