Mary O'Neill gives a presentation on the history of remote sensing in South Dakota at the Landsat 9 handover event at USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center on August 11, 2022. NASA turned ownership and operations of Landsat 9 over to the USGS at the event. O’Neill is former program manager of SDSU’s Office of Remote Sensing and outgoing AmericaView board director. She served as a guest on an Eyes on Earth podcast episode about collaborations between EROS and SDSU.
