Dr. Kurt Kowalski, Dr. Jeff Schaeffer, and technician Mike Eggleston (GLSC, Ann Arbor, Michigan) participated in the Great Lakes Coastal Wetland Monitoring Program Investigator's Meeting in Midland, Michigan, on Friday, March 1, 2019. This annual meeting pulls together principal investigators, field crews, and support staff from over sixteen institutions to plan for upcoming data collection and analysis as part of the basin-wide monitoring of Great Lakes coastal wetlands. The monitoring program is funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and seeks to characterize the ecological health of coastal wetlands through time.
