EDEN

EDEN is an integrated network of water-level gages, interpolation models that estimate daily water-level data at ungaged locations, and applications that generate derived hydrologic data across the freshwater part of the Greater Everglades landscape. This package contains the scripts that run the interpolations model to create the daily water surfaces. For more information, please see the USGS Report: https://doi.org/10.3133/sir20205083

The version of EDEN shared here is version 3. Versions 1 (Pearlstine et al., 2007) and 2 (Telis et al., 2015) both used Esri's ArcPy to run the water surface interpolation. Version 3 (Haider et al., 2020)is the first one to use R for the interpolation, and to distribute the code publicly on Git.
