Delia Ivanoff

Delia is the Quality Management System (QMS) Manager for the Northeast Region of the USGS and is a member of the USGS QMS Team implementing QMS in laboratories in Science Centers throughout USGS. She has a broad background and experience in developing and implementing quality management systems, as well as in scientific research and laboratory management.

Prior to working for the Northeast region, Delia was a Quality Assurance Specialist with the Energy and Minerals Mission Area, overseeing QMS implementation in the Geology, Energy, and Minerals Science Center laboratories in Reston. Before joining the USGS, Delia worked in various scientific research, laboratory management, and quality management positions in academic and government institutions in Florida. Her scientific research projects include water quality, wetland and upland soil biogeochemistry, and lakes and wetland restoration, including a multi-million dollar research program on large-scale Stormwater Treatment Areas for Everglades Restoration. She developed and managed various scales of quality management systems.
