Lindsey G Schneider

Lindsey Schneider is a Financial Specialist with the USGS Internal Controls Branch.

Lindsey began her professional career with USGS in the spring of 2012 as student studying Interpersonal and Organizational Communication at George Mason University. She was hired under the Student Pathways Program with the Eastern Minerals and Environmental Resources Science Center (EMERSC). Her role in supporting project staff quickly gave her experience with purchasing, timekeeping, travel arranging, and IPDS. Upon graduation, Lindsey was converted to a full time Administrative Operations Assistant (AOA) where she continued daily support for EMERSC and served as a backup for the Eastern Energy Resources Science Center.  Throughout her four years as an AOA, she acquired more financial responsibilities, which allowed her to easily transition into the role of Budget Analyst in 2016. In April of 2022, Lindsey began working for the Internal Controls Branch as a Financial Specialist.
