MacKenzie Mills

I am currently a PhD student working as a summer intern. My dissertation research is on surface geomorphology and structural geology of Mars, especially for areas where past fluid water may have existed. I've also worked on understanding how tectonics may impact surface processes and mass wasting on Jupiter's icy moon, Europa.

I grew up in the Puget Sound area, west of Tacoma. I earned my bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University, majoring in Earth and Planetary Sciences with a minor in Physics. I'm currently a PhD candidate in the Planetary Sciences program at the University of Arizona.
