Nicole M White

Nicole White is a Hydrologic Technician with the New Jersey Water Science Center. Her expertise lies in surface water, groundwater, and water-quality data collection and review, as well as installing and maintaining gaging stations and data-collection equipment. In addition to her routine Groundwater duties, Nicole also is a Web Content Manager for the center.

Nicole started her career with the USGS NJWSC as a Hydrologic Technician under the Pathways Recent Graduate Program in 2018. She operated a Surface Water field trip for 5 years before switching to the NJWSC's Groundwater Observation Program (2023). She has been trained on how to operate USGS small watercraft, compute discharge using the index velocity method, collect and analyze groundwater water-quality data, survey using traditional methods and GNSS, manage web content for the NJWSC website and more.
