The Georgia DOT will host a Public Information Open House (PIOH) and 30-day comment period for the proposed Interstate 16 Widening from I-95 to State Route (SR) 67 project (P.I. No. 0020168 and 0020739) in Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, and Effingham counties.
The first investment will be a bridge culvert project in Butts County. This project will cost approximately $3.1 million and will be on State Route 36 at Big Sandy Creek at Norris Creek. The contract was awarded to F. S. Scarbrough, LLC.
