Detailed Description
A USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory geophysicist downloads data at a temporary GPS station provided by UNAVCO, one of the scientific agencies that provided support during Kīlauea Volcano's recent activity. This GPS station was deployed to detect subtle surface deformation at the summit of the volcano. USGS photo by A. Miklius.
