North Bethesda Metro Station Mixed-Use Development
Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, Metro General Manager and CEO Randy Clarke, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, County Councilmember Natali Fani-Gonzalez, and other officials announced a new mixed-use development in North Bethesda. The 13.9-acre site was set to feature 2 to 3.7 million square feet of development, including the University of Maryland’s Institute for Health Computing, which focused on AI, Machine Learning, and Virtual/Augmented Reality. Community Homeless Memorial
Join us for the 2025 Community Memorial Service hosted by the Interagency Commission on Homelessness to honor those who passed away while experiencing homelessness in 2024 and 2025. This gathering is a chance to reflect on our commitment to ensuring everyone in Montgomery County has a place to call home. Hate-Bias Incident Form
A new online portal is now available to report hate-bias incidents in Montgomery County. The Montgomery County Police Department's (MCPD) Community Engagement Division address the increase in hate and bias-motivated threats, harassment, graffiti and violence in the community. If you are the victim or witness a Hate-Bias event, MCPD encourages you to report the incident. You may also call 311 to submit a report. A bias-related incident may be motivated by the same reasons as a hate crime but is different because the initial action did not rise to the level of a criminal offense.

Ride On Food Drive - May 25 – 31, 2025
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation’s Ride On Transit Services is conducting a food drive from May 25 – 31, 2025 in partnership with Manna Food Center, County Public Libraries and Regional Services Centers. All food donations will go to Manna Foods, to help members of our community who are in need.
Outdoor pools are open for weekends and Memorial Day beginning May 24. The full schedule begins June 14. Visit the website for more information.
