Dylan G.E. Gomes

I'm a Research Biologist at the U.S. Geological Survey Forest and Rangeland Ecosystem Science Center. My research focuses on fish and wildlife population ecology, ecological modeling, and exploring management and recovery actions for imperiled species.

We work closely with cooperators to develop ecological models and decision-support tools that meet the needs of decision makers. In our ecological models, we integrate population dynamics, trophic interactions, and environmental variation at multiple scales to improve our understanding of ecosystem dynamics. Our decision-support models are used to explore management and restoration options for aquatic and terrestrial species and landscapes.
