Seth Amgott

Seth Amgott is the Strategic Communications Advisor for the Office of Communications and Publishing. 

Seth plays a broad role in helping with strategic approaches to communication. Much of his focus is driven by the latest needs and high-profile communication priorities. This also includes support for scientific integrity issues and climate science communication, including the Climate Science Steering Committee and Climate Adaptation Science centers. He is also the lead for the “Unleashing the Science" communication campaign.

Seth has held senior communications roles advising One Laptop Per Child, Sumitomo Chemical Company, and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. He managed branding and content at ONE.org, coordinated global policy communications at Oxfam International, and stood up an infographics team at the U.S. Census Bureau.
