COMDYN

Computes estimates of species richness using large scale data.

MODPATH Observation Process (MODPATH-OBS)

The MODPATH-OBS (Hanson and others, 2013) computer program is designed to calculate simulated equivalents for observations related to advective groundwater transport that can be represented in a quantitative way by using simulated particle-tracking data.

Shoreline Management Tool

The Shoreline Management Tool—An ArcMap Tool for Analyzing Water Depth, Inundated Area, Volume, and Selected Habitats, with an Example for the Lower Wood River Valley, Oregon

Blossom Statistical Package for R

Blossom is an R package with functions for making statistical comparisons with distance-function based permutation tests developed by P.W. Mielke, Jr. and colleagues at Colorado State University, and for testing parameters estimated in linear models with permutation procedures developed by B. S. Cade and colleagues at the U.S. Geological Survey' Fort Collins Science Center, U.S. Geological Survey.

Fatality Estimator Software

Tool to Evaluate Wildlife Fatalities at Wind-Power Facilities

SEAWAT: A Computer Program for Simulation of Three-Dimensional Variable-Density Ground-Water Flow and Transport

SEAWAT is a combined version of MODFLOW and MT3DMS for simulation of variable-density groundwater flow and transport.

Surface-Water Routing (SWR) Process: A Program for Modeling Surface-Water Flow with the USGS Modular Groundwater Flow Model (MODFLOW)

The Surface-Water Routing (SWR) Process is used to accurately simulate stages, surface-water flows, and surface-water/groundwater interactions in areas where surface-water gradients are small and/or there is significant management of surface water.

The Pennsylvania Baseline Streamflow Estimator (BaSE)

Estimation of Baseline Daily Mean Streamflows for Ungaged Locations on Pennsylvania Streams, Water Years 1960–2008

Central Valley Hydrologic Model (CVHM)

The Central Valley Hydrologic Model (CVHM) is an extensive, detailed three-dimensional (3D) computer model of the hydrologic system of the Central Valley (Faunt, 2009). The Central Valley Hydrologic Model (CVHM) simultaneously accounts for changing water supply and demand across the landscape, and simulates surface water and groundwater flow across the entire Central Valley.

Physical Habitat Simulation (PHABSIM) Software for Windows

The purpose of the Physical Habitat Simulation System (PHABSIM) is to simulate a relationship between streamflow and physical habitat for various life stages of a species of fish or a recreational activity.

SmartRiver GIS

Smart River GIS allows simultaneous views of river hydraulics, species-specific habitat, and fish population simulations, for a better understanding of complex ecological interactions. We used existing data sets from the South Platte River in Colorado to develop a multi-layered geographic information system (GIS) that resource managers can use to improve their understanding of river ecosystems.

Software for Assisted Habitat Modeling Package for VisTrails (SAHM: VisTrails) v.1

The Software for Assisted Habitat Modeling for VisTrails has been created to both expedite habitat suitability modeling and help maintain a record of the various input data, pre- and post- processing steps, and modeling options incorporated in the construction of a species distribution model.
