U.S. Coastal Wetland Geospatial Datasets Collection and Coastal Wetlands Geonarrative

Scientists from across USGS have created the first CONUS-wide collection of key tidal wetland metrics. These metrics provide data on habitat quality, geomorphic vulnerability, and carbon stock that are necessary to understand the current and future ecosystem services provided by coastal wetlands.

The U.S. Geological Survey Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center collaborated with the Alaska Science Center and Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center to compile available datasets on glacier outlines, ice thickness, ice velocity, and glacier surface elevation change to assess the vulnerability of Alaskan glaciers. This data viewer reflects that effort.

Inland Fisheries Across the World: Assessing the State of Freshwater Aquatic Resources

Inland fisheries represent 12% of total global fishery production, provide accessible and affordable high-quality protein to some of the world's most vulnerable populations, and lack the traditional assessment processes necessary for estimating harvest potential. This project aimed to develop a scalable framework to assess the current and future status of inland fisheries worldwide.
