Model Archive and Hydraulic and Fluvial Egg Drift Simulator (FluEgg) Results for Simulations of Grass Carp Eggs and Larval Drift in the Lower Sandusky River, Ohio

May 30, 2024

The U.S. Geological Survey simulated the drifts of grass carp eggs in the lower Sandusky River, Ohio, using the Fluvial Egg Drift Simulator (FluEgg) (Garcia and others, 2013; Zhu, 2019). The hydraulic inputs used in the FluEgg simulations were generated using a one-dimensional (1D) Hydrologic Engineering Center-River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) 5.0.3 model of the lower Sandusky River (HEC-RAS, 2021). This data release contains an archive of the relevant files to document and run the HEC-RAS and FluEgg simulations of the lower Sandusky River as well as the simulation outputs. This ScienceBase page contains two child items, the first of which provides the HEC-RAS information and the second of which provides the FluEgg inputs and simulated results.
