Bird Banding Notes Vol. 1 No. 17, December 1925

Prior to Memo to All Banders, the Bird Banding Laboratory utilized Bird Banding Notes to communicate with banders between 1922 and 1966, issuing a total of 6 volumes. Volume 1 spanned from 1922-1930. Vol. 1 No. 17 of the Bird Banding Notes was released December 30, 1925. Subjects in this note are 1. General information to cooperators; 2. Species, date, and cooperator; 3. Substations; 4. Records of banding and recaptures; 5. Reports to The Biological Survey; 6. Advantages to result from the change; and 7. New plan now in effect.
