Bird Banding Notes Vol. 1 No. 5, January 1923

Prior to Memo to All Banders, the Bird Banding Laboratory utilized Bird Banding Notes to communicate with banders between 1922 and 1966, issuing a total of 6 volumes. Volume 1 spanned from 1922-1930. Vol. 1 No. 5 of the Bird Banding Notes was released January 29, 1923. Subject: Important Announcement – Method of Handling Bird Banding Records. This note announces that banding cards will be sent out with bands for banders to record data and guidelines on how to use and return them.
