Bird Banding Notes Vol. 2 No. 13, August 1935

Detailed Description

Prior to Memo to All Banders, the Bird Banding Laboratory utilized Bird Banding Notes to communicate with banders between 1992 and 1966, issuing a total of 6 volumes. Volume 2 spanned from 1930-1940. Vol. 2 No. 13 of the Bird Banding Notes was released in June 1935. Subjects in this note are 1. General information (including Wildlife Research Division, reporting return records, banding in Canada, exact date of banding necessary, who had band no. 34-602217?, check band shipments, banding of fledglings, special studies at banding stations, and hawks and owls); 2. Work during the year; 3. Photographs; 4. Work at banding stations; 5. Bands; 6. Traps; 7. Pole traps for taking birds without injury by Vernon Bailey; and 8. Returns.
