Bird Banding Notes Vol. 3 No. 5, April 1944

Prior to Memo to All Banders, The Bird Banding Laboratory utilized Bird Banding Notes to communicate with banders between 1922 and 1966, issuing a total of 6 volumes. Volume 3 spanned from 1939-1946. Vol. 3 No.5 of the Bird Banding Notes was released in April 1944. Subjects in this notes were a Special Memorandum to all Bird Banding Cooperators regarding this being the first issue of banding notes since 1942 and mentioning the need for infomrtion regarding Mourning Doves.
