Bird Banding Notes Vol. 3 No. 6, June 1946

Prior to Memo to All Banders, the Bird Banding Laboratory utilized Bird Banding Notes to communicate with banders between 1992 and 1966, issuing a total of 6 volumes. Volume 3 spanned from 1939-1946. Vol. 3 No. 6 of the Bird Banding Notes was released in June 1946. Subjects in this note are 1. General information to cooperators (including lost bands, the effects of the war on banding and the lab’s productivity); 2. Schedules; 3. Reporting returns; 4. Age designation; 5. Work during the war; and 6. Banding work done 1942-1945.
