Bird Banding Notes Vol. 5 No. 2, April 1965

Prior to Memo to All Banders, the Bird Banding Laboratory utilized Bird Banding Notes to communicate with banders between 1992 and 1966, issuing a total of 6 volumes. Vol. 5 No. 2 of the Bird Banding Notes was released in April 1965. Subjects in this note are 1. The banding program; 2. Permit limitations; 3. Evaluation sheets; 4. Banding ethics; 5. Use of “request for banding data” cards; 6. Summaries of non-game birds banded from 1954 though 1962; and 7. Total recoveries and bandings.
