Dr. Keith A. Loftin in the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Organic Geochemistry Research Laboratory. Dr. Loftin is standing in front of a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) system. USGS scientist Dr. Loftin received the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Water's Achievement in Science and Technology Award for his contributions to the National Wetlands Condition Assessment.
