In June 2015, BLM Idaho State Director Tim Murphy and Associate State Director Peter Ditton joined other BLM employees, along with members of the Shoshone-Paiute Tribe for a work day at the Duck Valley Reservation. About 20 volunteers installed weed barrier, spread over 100 bags of sand and placed pavers to create a permanent floor in one of the on-site greenhouses.
BLM Idaho hopes to continue to work cooperatively with the Shoshone-Paiute tribe to enhance the availability of native-plant material for use on public lands in future years.
