Cableway Measurement
Detailed Description
On April 10, 2014 hydrologic technicians Nick Stasulis and Anthony Underwood visited the USGS gaging station on Grand Lake Stream at Grand Lake Stream, Maine. The cableway was used to make a discharge measurement with an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP). ADCPs measure river depth and velocity and compute discharge using this information.
