Detailed Description
The Chinook Salmon in its stream habitat. They are characterized by the small dark spots on their head, back,and fins. Chinook Salmon are the largest of the Columbia River salmon. Adults average 22 pounds, however, people frequently report seeing 40 to 50-pound adults in the fish ladders at Bonneville Dam.
