Detailed Description

Chirp profile 63 from the western end of the study area showing the wedge of T1 sediment between R1 and R2, which we interpret as undisturbed Holocene sediment and T2 overlying T1 which we interpret as disturbed or “reworked” Holocene sediment. A shows uninterpreted profile and B shows interpreted profile. This profile is representative of the west zone. Note the T1 section downlaps seaward. Mean high water is abbreviated as MHW.
