This sampling effort is part of an ongoing treatability study to assess bioremediation efforts on a shallow plume of VOCs (Volatile Organic Carbons) including trichloroethylene (TCE) in a perched aquifer. This study is in collaboration with the Army Environmental Center (AEC) and USGS Maryland-Delaware-DC Water Science Center.
