Detailed Description
During a geophysical cruise off northern California, Sam Johnson from USGS points out the location of the San Andreas fault on a map generated by multibeam data to correlate with the new, incoming seismic-reflection data. Taken during the San Andreas Fault 2010 Expedition, NOAA Ocean Exploration and Research.
