Comparisons among 4 IPCC scenarios of Greenhouse Gas emissions

Detailed Description

Four RCPs were used to force climate models for the IPCC's Fifth Reporting Period. The RCPs covered a broad range of possible emissions pathways, from the most aggressive mitigation (RCP 2.6) that is roughly consistent with the Paris Accord, the the most pessimistic (RCP 8.5) in which the increase rate of emssions over the past few decades continues unabated throughout the 21st century.
