Detailed Description
Cameron Ensor (pictured) and Nickolas Grim of the Pennsylvania Water Science Center cut through 7+ inch thick ice in order to make a discharge measurement at 01571184 Mountain Creek near Pine Grove Furnace, Pennsylvania on January 3, 2018. This gage is part of the USGS Federal Priority Streamgage Network. The temperature during their visit was -4F. (Nickolas Grim, USGS). (From the 2020 Water Mission Area Calendar)
