Detailed Description
The Rock River flooded parts of northwest Iowa after several days of heavy rainfall in June 2018. A train carrying crude oil derailed over a flooded bridge south of Doon on June 22, prompting evacuations of nearby homes. This Landsat 8 image from June 1 shows the Rock River and Little Rock River prior to the rainfall.
