Examples of landward migration of coastal wetlands scenarios. a) gradual slope that would allow for upslope migration; b) upslope migration prevented by infrastructure barrier; c) upslope migration prevented by a topographic barrier; d) upslope migration possible due to infrastructure that enables hydrologic connectivity.
