Groundwater collection using a piezometer

Adrian Mann is using a piezometer to extract submarine groundwater to analyze for geochemical parameters in Indian River Bay, DE. This research is focused on the role of coastal groundwater discharge, in delivery of nitrogen (N), carbon (C), phosphorus (P), GHG, and other materials to coastal ecosystems, particularly in relation to declining water quality in estuaries and to the role of coastal ecosystems affecting climate change.
