An increase in lava supply overnight produced several channel overflows threatening homes on Nohea street and additional overflows downstream on both sides of the channel. The overflows had stalled by mid-morning, and field crews were able to approach and capture this photograph. For scale, a person's leg and boot are visible on the center right.
