Detailed Description
This graphic shows from left to right: A. Landsat DEM image, B. a 3 by 3 pixel statistics image, and C. a 5 by 5 pixel statistics image. This is used to determine the largest elevation change within a 3x3-pixel area (figure 4B.), as well as a 5x5-pixel area (figure 4C.). These areas represent a misregistration of +/-30 and +/-60 meters, respectively.
