Preliminary mapping of the Upper Santa Cruz basin study area

Preliminary compilation of existing geologic mapping in study area: red and pink colors generally represent Cenozoic volcanic and intrusive rocks; green, purple, and blue colors are Mesozoic and Paleozoic sedimentary, volcanic, and intrusive rocks; yellow colors are Quaternary and Tertiary basin-fill deposits; and tan and brown colors are Proterozoic igneous rocks.
