White sturgeon
Detailed Description
The White sturgeon is commonly found above and below Bonneville Dam as well as throughout the Columbia and Snake rivers. They like deep, cavernous areas and are bottom feeders. Sturgeons are rarely seen in the fish ladders at Bonneville dam but are often caught by fishermen just below it. White Sturgeon can be found below Bonneville Dam year-round.
