Brian L Loving
Brian Loving is the Deputy Center Director for Observing Systems of the USGS Wyoming-Montana Water Science Center.
Brian is responsible for assisting the Center Director in the planning, direction, and administration of the Center’s data collection and interpretive programs in Wyoming and Montana. He serves as the Center’s program lead for data collection and management activities, and the general contact for the Center’s science activities in Wyoming. He previously served in similar roles for other USGS Water Science Centers, while working on an international team that led the implementation of using hydroacoustic instruments in freshwater applications. He began his career as a hydrologic technician with the USGS in Utah, where he led a project that modeled the water and salt balance in Great Salt Lake.
