I am a hydrologist in the Watershed Studies Section at the Virginia and West Virginia Water Science Center.
I joined the Virginia and West Virginia Water Science Center in spring of 2023 as a hydrologist in the Watershed Studies Section. The goal of my current work is to understand harmful algal blooms in Virginia surface waters. Prior to this, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Appalachian State University in 2020 and a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Maryland in 2022. My background research focused on understanding ion and nutrient transport and transformation from freshwater salinization in urban streams across space and time.
