Tandie E. Gautreau

(she/her)

Tandie is a Geographer at the National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC).

I am a geographer, environmental scientist, and GIS professional. My expertise also encompasses fluvial and coastal geomorphology, the geographical distributions of pollinating insects and solar PV panels, and estuarine ecology. In February 2022, I joined the USGS's Geosciences and Environmental Change Science Center (GECSC) in Denver, CO as a GIS Technician. Notably, my team and I created the first publicly available polygon dataset of large-scale solar photovoltaic (LSPV) installations in the United States.

In February 2024, I joined the USGS National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC) Hydrography Operations as a geographer. My duties include production and quality assurance of The National Map's surface water data under the 3D Hydrography Program (3DHP).
