Southwest (SW) Corner Latitude and Longitude
Longitude Format:
DDDMMSS.SSH
DDD = Degree(s) with a range of 0 through 180
MM = Minute(s) with a range of 0 through 59
SS.SS = Second(s) with a range of 0 through 59.99
H = Hemisphere with E for east and W for west
Latitude Format:
DDMMSS.SSH
DD = Degree(s) with a range of 0 through 90
MM = Minutes(s) with a range of 0 through 59
SS.SS = Second(s) with a range of 0 through 59.99
H = Hemisphere with N for north and S for south
- Field Definition: The Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Authority provides the infrastructure for the registration and services for a persistent reference. The DOI authority is used along with the DOI Name to view the associated URL for the product.
Example:
- Field Definition: Digital Object Identifier is used to uniquely and permanently identify a dataset. The DOI Name is more stable than a URL and is used as a permanent reference for the product. The DOI Name can be entered into a DOI Authority system to view the associated URL for the product.
Values:
Prefix – 10. 5067 identifies registrant agent that has been assigned for NASA ESDIS.
Suffix – identifies the data item as assigned and managed by the registrant agent.
Example: 10.5067/MEaSUREs/GWELD/GWELDMO.031
- Field Definition: This field uniquely identifies the individual GWELD scene in EarthExplorer.
Example
L57.Globe.annual.2011.hh19vv04.h2v3.doy014to365.NBAR.v3.0.hdf
- Field Definition: GWELD products are defined in the Sinusoidal coordinate system to promote continuity of NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) land tile grid. The horizontal tile number of the 10⁰ X 10⁰ MODIS grid for the granule increases from left to right.
Values:
00 through 35
- Field Definition: The name of an individual file.
Format:
Lss.Globe.Period.Year.hhxx.vvyy.hx.vy.doyMINtoMAX.NBAR.v.V.V.hdf
Lss = Landsat satellite or combination of satellites used in the product (4, 5, 7)
Globe = Area of interest
Period = Annual or month01 through month12
Year = Year the data were acquired
hxx = Horizontal MODIS Tile Number
vyy = Vertical MODIS Tile Number
hx = Horizontal GWELD Tile Number within the MODIS land tile
vy = Vertical GWELD Tile Number within the MODIS land tile
doyMINtoMAX = Day of year minimum (start) to maximum (end) for the data acquisition
NBAR = Product Type (Nadir Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function (BRDF)-Adjusted Reflectance)
v.V.V = Version (Major and minor algorithm version changes reflected in the first and second digits, respectively)
hdf = Format
Example Annual: L57.Globe.annual.2011.hh07vv06.h5v4.doy014to363.NBAR.v3.0.hdf
Example Monthly: L04.Globe.month12.1988.hh08vv06.h4v5.doy343to343.NBAR.v3.1.hdf
- Field Definition: The version number of the data set.
- Field Definition: GWELD products are defined in the Sinusoidal coordinate system to promote continuity of NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) land tile grid. The vertical tile number of the 10⁰ X 10⁰ MODIS grid for the granule increases from top to bottom.
Values:
00 through 17
