Flood Alerts

Flood Watches and Warnings can be viewed in the USGS National Water Dashboard. Simply click on the "Layers" menu on the upper right corner and select "Alerts", then "Flooding" from the dropdown menus. Next select the "On" button to turn on the Flooding alerts. It is easier to the see the alerts if you turn "Off" any other Layers that might be turned on. Zooming into the area you live requires using the scroll wheel on your mouse or using the +/- buttons on the left side of the map. Clicking in the shaded alert zones reveals the type of alert.
