Goodbye Taylor!

Taylor joined The National Map Corps team in December of 2020 as a Pathways intern, and while the pandemic and full-time telework prevented us from actually getting to meet him in person, we’ll still miss him!

After a fantastic year with The National Map Corps, my time here has sadly come to an end as I move on to another adventure. I have recently accepted a new position with AmeriCorps and the U.S. Forest Service in Juneau, Alaska as a Fish and Wildlife Technician. During my time up there, I will participate in multiple ongoing studies of many different species found in Southeast Alaska including brown bears and spawning salmon. Though I loved being a part of the TNMCorps team, this is an opportunity that will allow me to work in a new exciting environment and with interesting new people. I want to show my appreciation to every editor and user of The National Map. Lastly, I want to thank every single one of my coworkers for this fantastic experience and hope to stay in touch. Their diligence and hard work are what have made and will continue to make this application successful.

Thank you again!

Respectfully,

Taylor Cunningham
