Effects of a causeway on the chemistry of the brine in Great Salt Lake, Utah

During 1958-59, the Southern Pacific Co. constructed a permeable rockfill causeway to carry its railroad tracks across Great Salt Lake. As part of a study of the springs of Utah, reconnaissance data were obtained on the thermal, chemical, and geologic characteristics of the major thermal springs or Utah.
