Efficacy of electrofishing to assess plasma cortisol concentration in juvenile chinook salmon passing hydroelectric dams on the Columbia River

Temperature and CO2 Effects on Blood O2 Equilibria in Northern Squawfish, Ptychocheilus oregonensis

In vitro blood O2 equilibrium curves were constructed at 9, 15, 18, and 21 °C from temperature-acclimated northern squawfish, Ptychocheilus oregonensis. We evaluated cui-ui,Chasmistes cujus, swim-up success, time of hatching and swim-up, and size of larvae at swim-up under four fluctuating temperature regimes (8.9–15.0, 12.2–18.3, 15.0–21.1, and 17.8–23.9° C). Determination of buoyant density and sensitivity to chloroform and freon for the etiological agent of infectious salmonid anaemia

Plasma was collected from Atlantic salmon Salrno salar with acute infectious salmon anaemia (ISA) and used to challenge Atlantic salmon parr by intraperitoneal injection.
