About the NGP Standards and Specifications Team
The National Geospatial Program documents specifications and participates on standards development committees in order to facilitate the development and sharing of geospatial data and products, and to define the requirements that ensure all products and data prepared by the USGS under the NGP are consistent in accuracy, structure, format, style, and content.
