Coastal areas and wetlands provide society with numerous services that include flood control, storm protection, recreation, and critical habitat for a multitude of flora and fauna. The Climate R&D Program conducts research studying patterns and drivers of past and future sea level change and responses of interior wetlands to changing climate, land use, and invasive species.
